Burke-Agro prepares the highest quality solar dehydrated fruit and frozen fruit pulp for export to specialty grocers and wholesalers. Our products stand out from the rest as they are grown in rich volcanic soil, hand-processed, naturally preserved, and have no additives, preservatives or sugar.

Burke-Agro stimulates the socioeconomic advancement of rural women entrepreneurs and through them, the social-economic development of the respective producing areas. Our project supports Nicaragua's development and growth by facilitating producers' access to relevant resources, technology, and support. We strongly believe that working in conjunction with local government and international development agencies helps better target a need for communities and provides us with the opportunity to provide women, who are the sole providers of their families, with the skills and means to better their lives and surroundings.

Sustainable methods and practices along with the use of renewable energy are integral in our mission. Burke Agro has the largest solar hybrid fruit dryer in the region and facilitates the organic certification of many fruit suppliers. We have the largest network of organic certified fruit in Nicaragua and the only organic certified fruit processing facility in the country. The integration of a biodigestor, which will use our waste material to create biogas used in boilers, propane generators and burners is our next project to increase our sustainability and lower our carbon footprint.
